Watch: ‘The Truth Has Come Out’ – Police Inform Delia He Is No Longer A Money Laundering Suspect

The police have informed PN MP Adrian Delia that they no longer consider him to be a money laundering suspect.

“The investigation relating to you has been concluded. Unless further evidence and information becomes available, no further police action is anticipated. You are accordingly not regarded as as suspect in this matter,” a letter by the FCID to Delia reads.

The police wrote to Delia in response to a letter he sent them back in 2022 after it was reported that the FIAU had recommended a police investigation into potential money laundering over money he received from a client who purchased a London property over 25 years ago.

The client had rented the property to a third party, who used it as a brothel.

Delia sent the police several reminders over the years, but he has now received a definite response.

“After years of fighting and trying to rebut these allegations, the truth has finally come out,” Delia said.

“I didn’t break a single law, commit a single abusive act or launder any money. I hope now that all those who used these allegations to harm my reputation will at least recognise that they were wrong.”
