Watch: Thousands Flock To Streets Of Valletta For Workers’ Day Mass Meeting
Thousands of Labour supporters filled Valletta’s streets today for the party’s annual Workers’ Day mass meeting, held in Merchants Street.
This year’s theme, “Bix-Xogħol: Il-Ġid għall-Maltin” (“Through Work: Wealth for the Maltese”), reflects the idea that wealth should be generated through work and distributed fairly according to people’s needs, Labour Party President Alex Sciberras explained.
Footage shared by the party shows jubilant supporters dressed in red, waving Maltese flags, and dancing as a DJ plays political crowd favourites.
