Watch: Touching Moment An Elderly Man Was Carried Across Gżira Flooding During Last Week’s Storm
As the Maltese islands still reel from last week’s major storm, more heartwarming moments of kindness keep emerging, this time from the seaside town of Gżira.
Touching footage has emerged of an elderly man being carried across the flooding in Gżira during last week’s storm.
In footage sent to Lovin Malta, a man can be seen carrying an elderly man across a long stretch of flooded pavement, before putting him down safely on the other side.
The touching moment happened on the evening of Thursday 29th November on Rue D’Argens road, right next to the Rizzo bus stop.
Earlier this week, another beautiful moment from the storm was caught on camera, when a Wolt courier was filmed sheltering a woman from the strong winds which hit the islands’ seaside towns and promenades particularly hard.
The video went on to amass over 300,000 views in six days, with many praising the man and his small but incredible act of kindness.
