Watch: ‘We’re Not The Party Of Death’ – PN MP Ivan Bartolo On Euthanasia Proposal

Nationalist MP Ivan Bartolo strongly hinted that he is personally against a government proposal to legalise voluntary euthanasia.
“I am proud to be an MP who works with a party whose statute clearly states that it is pro-life from conception till death,” Bartolo told a press conference today when questioned by a ONE journalist about his stance on the topic.
“We are the progressive party because we aren’t the party of death.”
PN MP Albert Buttigieg said that his personal opinion is that he is “pro-life” but that voluntary euthanasia is a delicate subject that requires much discussion. He pointed out that no PL MP, nor the PL itself, has taken a position on the matter.
His colleague Bernice Bonello was the most cautious of the lot, simply stating that the PN is discussing and researching the topic and listening to the views of others, just as the PL is doing.
