Watch: Women Who Miscarry In Malta Will Be Segregated From New Mothers
Parliamentary secretary for Social Dialogue Andy Ellul has announced a small but important initiative to ease the pain of women who suffer a miscarriage.
Ellul confirmed on Awla that all the necessary infrastructure is in place at Mater Dei to segregate women who have just miscarried from new mothers.
This measure aims to ease the suffering of women who have just endured an extremely traumatic experience, sparing them the added distress of being placed in the same ward as mothers celebrating the birth of their newborns.
