A kiosk watchman has been found in an unconscious state in Tower Road, Sliema, early this morning.

The watchman was bound and gagged outside the kiosk he was watching over, which was found to be robbed.

A police spokesperson said the man was found near the Preluna Hotel, and his exact condition is as yet unconfirmed. The man, an Indian national, was found with tape over his mouth on the floor beside the kiosk itself.

He was found at around 7:30am this morning. Police are investigating the case.
