Wear Pink And Donate In Stephanie’s Memory, Gordon Polidano Says Ahead Of Birkirkara Funeral

Gordon Polidano has some touching requests for those attending his late wife’s funeral on Thursday morning.
Polidano, who tragically lost his 32-year-old wife Stephanie last week, has asked those coming to wear a touch of pink in her honour, and to swap flowers for donations to Malta Trust Foundation, an organisation that supports young people.
The funeral will be held on Thursday 28th April at 8.30am at St Helen’s Basilica, Birkirkara.
“What a short but exciting journey we had together with our two daughters Denise and Julia,” Gordon Polidano, son of businessman Charles “iċ-Ċaqnu” Polidano, wrote to his late wife Stephanie.
The pair knew each other for 13 years and were married for six. She leaves behind their two young daughters.
Back in 2017, the couple had gone viral nationwide for hosting Malta’s biggest wedding, with a lavish ceremony bringing 3,000 guests to the Montekristo Estates.
“Dear Stephanie, I never thought of this moment, especially at such a young age but I know you’re already in heaven next to your beloved father,” Gordon said.
What do you make of Polidano’s requests?
