A Stormy Holiday? Malta’s Upcoming Long Weekend Set To Be Wet And Windy

It’s beginning to look a bit more like winter!
 
As cloudy days and chilly nights persist, Malta’s upcoming long weekend is set to see the return of very strong winds and even stormy weather.
 
Initially forecasted to hit on Friday, this latest spell of bad weather now seems like it will intensify over Saturday… but don’t expect the night of the public holiday to be too peachy.

According to the latest forecasts by respected weather pages It-Temp Madwarna and l-Aġġornament tat-Temp – not to mention of course the official MetOffice predictions on the Malta International Airport website – we could very well end up seeing winds that go all the way up to Force 7 again this weekend, with temperatures gradually plummeting to around 12°C.
