Ending July With A Sweaty Bang: This Week’s Weather In Malta Shows There’s Way More Of Summer To Go

You might’ve found yourself thinking that last night was pleasantly cool and positively fresh, at least as far as the rest of last weekend goes. Well, even though it looks like some slightly cooler temperatures will indeed see us out of July, summer’s got a lot more in store for Malta in the form of August.

Kicking off with a relatively balmy 31℃ that’ll feel more like 35℃, today is set to be the “coolest” day of the week, and strong winds that might see the northwesterly Force 4 go all the way up to even 5 and 6 will definitely help. However, by the midweek, temperatures will start going up right in time for summer’s final, super hot month.

August is kicking off with temperatures that feel like 38℃, and it’s only going to get hotter by the time the weekend arrives

That’s right; by Friday, the tempratures will be feeling like 39℃ again, and with a blistering UV Index of 11 and a relatively calm Force 3 wind blowing from the south, it’s going to be a very hot start to August. Hang on and pray to incoming Santa Marija, because autumn is still very much out of the equation.
