Sweltering hot days have been the norm in Malta for weeks now, and as the first day of July kicks this week off, it doesn’t seem like we’re going to stop sweating any time soon.

Following a recordbreaking end to June all across the continent, with temperatures in France going as high as 45°C, this week’s weather in Malta is set to be pretty much the exact same for every single day.

Highs of 31°C that feel more like 35°C will dominate the first part of the week… but it could get even hotter by the weekend

Yep; as a small bump in temperature is set to arrive by Thursday, the first weekend of July could see temperatures that feel like 36°C and beyond, and with lows that never make it under 23°C, we’re looking at some warm summer nights too.

The UV Index will start at the very high 9 it’s been all summer, but will skyrocket to 10 by the weekend, so don’t forget to stay safe and put on copious amounts of sunscreen. Happy July everyone!
