Here Comes The Sun(ish): This Weekend’s Weather In Malta Isn’t Looking Very Halloween-y

Dark, rainy days and freezing nights are what one would normally associate with Halloween, but it seems like this weekend in Malta is actually set to bring the heat… and sun!
While Halloween isn’t until next Wednesday, most events this year are set to happen this weekend. And if the weather forecast is anything to go by, no plans should be ruined.
All three days of the weekend should be partly cloudy, with the sun making enough of an appearance throughout the day for temperatures to go up. Indeed, today’s temperature of 24°C will keep rising, going up to 28°C tomorrow and – wait for it – feeling like 31°C on Sunday. Yes, you read that right.
This weekend’s nights should help provide some fresh respite, with low temperatures going as far as 20°C tonight and Saturday night. The southerly winds might be one of the main contributing factors to this spell of warmness, but as the winds go up from Force 3 to even Force 6 by Sunday, the return of fresher periods might be just round the corner.
As far as actual Halloween goes, Monday is proving to be a very interesting day, with the possible return of rain being accompanied by temperatures feeling as high as 33°C (climate change is very real y’all).
Currently, Halloween looks like it’s going to be more of what this weekend has in store, with highs of 23°C dominating a mainly sunny day that should see the evening bring with it a sweater weather 19°C. Of course, we’ll keep you updated on the 31st – and the rest of the next week – when we’re closer to the date.
But it looks like no Halloween plans should be ruined this year!
