Ugh, sunny spells and warm weather are so 10th March 2019. After last weekend’s beautiful bout which saw families from all over Malta and Gozo take to outdoor lunches, road trips and picnics, the islands are in for some all-too-familiar grey and windy weather.

Today’s cloudy start is set to carry on for the rest of the week, with the highs of 20°C making their way down to 13°C by tomorrow. Beyond the cooling temperature, however, the already moderate Force 4 wind making its way across the archipelago today is going to get very strong very quickly.

Tomorrow sees powerful northwesterly winds of Force 8 hit Malta again… and moderate to strong winds will be the order of the day for most of the week

Yep.

While Tuesday is definitely the worst day as far as the wind goes, strong northwesterly winds will be featuring in pretty much every single day this week.

The Force 5 and 6 winds on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will also see the temperature feel much cooler than the 21°C it was last weekend, with lows of around 10°C for every evening this week. And tomorrow, that might go all the way down to 8°C at night.
