OK, so very strong Force 7 winds, overnight rainfall and unseasonally wet roads aside, this week in Malta might not have been as cold and stormy as some people would’ve wished. But compared to what’s coming for us this weekend, you might find yourself wishing we would’ve had a couple more weather warnings for the coming days.

After today’s sunny and warm start, the temperature for the weekend is set to rise some more, stabilising at highs of 30°C that’ll actually feel more like 35°C by tomorrow.

Saturday is looking like it could actually be partly cloudy, which could make for some relieving shade from the brutal UV 9 sun and those very warm highs.

Evenings are set to balance out at 21°C, which are at least a tad fresh as far as summer nights go.

One thing’s for sure though; we’re not in summer stormy territory anymore.
