Here’s Just How Wet And Windy It’s About Get In Malta This Week
As if perfectly timed to frustrate everyone who has normal working hours, Malta woke up to a beautiful sunny day today. But don’t let Monday’s calm start to the week fool you; it’s about to get wet and very windy soon enough.
Today’s highs of 15°C mark the warmest it’ll be all week, with temperatures decreasing as the wind keeps getting stronger and stronger. By tomorrow, the wind would’ve climbed to Force 5, and isolated showers will be setting the scene for the next couple of days.
Every day for the rest of the week is showing isolated showers over the islands, but it is the strong winds that are set to be the major talking point.
Force 6 and 7 winds will be dominating both Wednesday and Thursday, making the apparent highest temperatures barely feel more than 10°C. As far as the evenings go, lows are set to be going all the way down to 7°C on Tuesday, temperatures which will be echoed by the end of the week after a momentary rise on Wednesday.
Because we live in a cruel world where Mondays are sunny and Fridays are rainy, this week will yet again be bringing wet and windy weather right in time for the weekend.
If it’s any consolation, however, Friday will see the wind suddenly dip from Force 6 and 7 all the way down to 2 and 3.
