Hotter Days And A Thunderstorm For Halloween: The Weather In Malta This Week Is One Very Mixed Bag

Strong winds and storms might’ve dominated most of the last weeks on the island, but Malta is set for one very confusing batch of weather this week.
This morning kicked off with strong winds and weirdly warm temperatures, and with the Malta International Airport forecast page displaying a yellow warning on the strong southeast wind which is expected to continue hitting the islands right up to 5pm this evening. Even though Monday is set to be the windiest day of the week, winds of Force 4 and 5 will still persist throughout the rest of this week.
Even though the week is set to start with isolated showers and strong winds that go all the way up to Force 6 over the day, the temperature is actually set to be rather hot. In fact, the temperature will feel as hot as 30°C today, bringing it back to summery highs.
The rest of the week holds a confusing mix of a sunny day on Tuesday, a possible thunderstorm on Wednesday, and more isolated showers on Thursday. And while the temperature should go down to 23°C by Tuesday, it would feel like 29°C again by Thursday.
The first weekend of November is set to be a little bit more stable, with three cloudy and relatively fresher days.
The highest temperature should not feel hotter than 24°C, with the evenings seeing that go down to 20°C. Add moderate winds that might go up to strengths of Force 5 over the weekend, and we’re looking at a slightly more wintery weekend to kick the month off.
