It Continues: This Week’s Weather In Malta Still Isn’t 100% Fine Just Yet

Article Featured Image

Hail and cold winds descended onto certain areas around Malta (particularly Gozo) on Sunday, but while things calmed down by the end of yesterday, the islands still aren’t in the clear just yet.

Following today’s cloudy start, it looks like tomorrow (Tuesday) is set to be the wettest day of the week. Isolated showers could be returning to Malta by the end of the day, with strong Force 4 and 5 winds persisting all throughout the week. Pair those with a reduced UV Index of 7, and expect those highs of just over 20°C to feel particularly cool… especially come the evenings and those lows of 13°C.

While we might not be getting a proper sunny day this week even though we’re already halfway into May and just over a month away from the start of summer, Friday is set to be a mainly sunny day, bringing new hope for next weekend. So that’s something to look forward to!
