After yet another sunny December spell this week, the weather in Malta might turn a tad more wintery. And yet again, it’s going to perfectly coincide with the weekend. Yay.

Today’s mainly sunny day should see Malta off into the weekend with highs of 20°C, and as the evening arrives, the temperature will be plummeting to 15°C… but even colder evenings just round the corner.

Tomorrow is set to be off to a windy and possibly even wet start, with isolated showers and strong gusts of Force 5 going up to Force 6, pushing the highest temperatures down to 17°C. By the evening, that would’ve made it down to 12°C, with room for even fresher temperatures by the time Sunday arrives.

The last day of the week will see temperatures just about make it to 16°C (around the same as the coldest it would’ve gotten tonight, just two days before). As Force 5 and 6 winds from the northwest are set to persist, the lowest temperature will just about make the double digits, sitting on 11°C.
