Malta’s Heatwave Is Slowing Down (Slightly)

After a scorching stretch of 35°C highs and blazing sunshine, Malta is finally in for some relief.

A shift in the weather is expected midweek, bringing a cooler breeze and a slight drop in temperature. While Monday and Tuesday will still be hot and sunny, things will start to change on Wednesday with strong northwesterly winds ushering in fresher air.

By Thursday and Friday, temperatures are expected to dip to around 30°C, with a chance of localised showers and more cloud cover heading into the weekend.

The UV index remains very high, so don’t ditch the sunscreen just yet.
