More Rain? Two Massive Storms Currently Circling Gozo’s Northern Coast

Two massive storms have been circling Gozo’s northern coast since last night, with the formation seemingly getting closer and closer.

Satellite radar images captured at 8.45am show a massive storm formation full of rain and lightning edging closer and closer to the Maltese islands.

It’s still unclear at this moment whether the storm will be hitting Malta and Gozo.

Popular forecasting page Aġġornament tat-Temp took to Facebook last night to share what the situation looks like just 23 nautical miles off the coast of Dwejra in Gozo where two large storms have formed.

Malta has already seen some heavy rainfall over the last few days, with many roads leading to serious flooding of as much as 50mm.

Now all that’s left to do is wait and see whether any of this formation will eventually hit the islands.
