Malta, Prepare For One Of The Hottest Days Of Summer
Prepare for one of the hottest days of summer. According to the Malta International Airport weather forecast page, the maximum temperature is expected to reach 37°C today, and will feel like 39. To add insult to injury, the UV index is expected to reach a dangerously high 10, so be sure to wear skin and eye protection if you’re venturing outside!
This isn’t the sort of news you’d want to hear if you were planning on attending Isle of MTV or Dream Theater this evening (boozing in 39 degrees heat is a recipe for disaster) but there is some good news on that front. By the time the headliners hit the stage, the weather will have dropped down to 31 which, while still pretty hot, should make life much more bearable.
Thankfully, the forecast for the rest of the week suggests that temperatures will have dropped, with the maximum temperatures averaging at around 30 degrees when the weekend comes. In fact, the Met Office forecasts that there’s even a 20% chance of rain Monday evening!
