Indications show that stormy weather is set to hit the Maltese Islands today, with weather reports showing clouds approaching from the Southwestern front.

It-Temp Madwarna shared images of the weather heading towards the islands, with clouds just about to hit the northern part of Gozo as well as the Western side of Malta. 

The page Aġġornament Tat-Temp also shared a photo from Dingli by Matthew Buhagiar showing the extent of the cloudy weather.

While the island had been awaiting rain for weeks now, this week saw a deluge hit the island, with vehicles even being washed away in Mrieħel as the temporary tide rose.

Anyone expected to hit the roads today should be advised and take precautions before planning any trips.
