While it may not be sweater weather just yet, the early hints of autumn are starting to peek over the horizon.

After a long summer of sweat and heatwaves, Malta’s temperatures will finally drop this coming weekend… by 6°C!

“The highest temperature will be at 26°C. Which means 5°C less than the previous day,” popular Facebook forecasting page Aġġornament tat-Temp wrote.

According to the official Met Office forecast on the Malta International Airport website, Monday and Tuesday might also see possible showers.

However, don’t get your hopes too high – the temperature will once again experience a slight increase come next Thursday.

“Temperatures will rise again slightly on Thursday of next week,” Aġġornament tat-Temp wrote.
