That’s More Like It! April’s Last Week In Malta Is Proof Summer’s Just Round The Corner

Ah, April 2020, the month that’ll forever go down as just one of those long, eventful messes many of us would rather forget. At least though, as far as the weather’s concerned, April’s last week is going out with a beautiful streak.
Fair and sunny days are currently on the forecast for every single day this week, in what feels like an absolute first for 2020 amidst persisting mixed bags, strong gusts and random showers well into spring.
Today’s warm highs of 24°C will set a trend for the rest of the week, with only Thursday showing a marginally lower temperature. Every evening is also set to be the same, at 15°C. As the sun persists, the UV Index of 8 might even go up to 9 by Wednesday for an even brighter midweek.
As for the wind, this is at least expected to be blowing from the northwest as of Wednesday, making sure that the brutally warm moments felt on days like yesterday are given a bit of a breezy boost with fresh bouts of Force 3 and 4 winds towards the end of the week.
Everything looks set for a good kick-off to May with Friday’s public holiday… but till then, let’s make sure we still stay in and only go out if it’s absolutely necessary. We’ve come this far!
