The Storm’s Not Over: Gusts Of Force Eight Winds Expected Today In Malta After 1pm

Malta’s storm is not over yet. With last night’s wind strengthening to force 7, local warnings indicate that it will pick up again today after 1pm.

“Monday after 1 pm, the wind will strengthen again to force 7 northwest with gusts of force 8. The strong wind will last until Tuesday at 7am,” aġġornament tat-temp wrote.

Meanwhile, the Malta Met Office shows that wind gusts will range between 38 to 48 miles per hour between 1pm and 3am, tomorrow, with the worst expected to occur late at night and early in the morning.

Last night’s stormy weather had major impacts on its surroundings with strong force eights, as well as gusts of force nine, damaging the Ġostra Rock in Xlendi, Gozo, aġġornament tat-temp wrote.
