We hope you’ve managed to make the most of Malta’s sunny spell last week, because it’s only gonna get colder and wetter as the week ends, and we approach 2017’s first public holiday.

Over the next couple of days, the chances of rain will shoot up from 20% to 50%, and the temperature will drop to hover under 15°C from today all the way up to Friday night.

The wind is set to remain at a stable Force 4-5 all week, so make sure you’ve got an extra layer on for those cold afternoons.

At least, Saturday will bring back the sunny weather and warmer temperatures, so maybe plan your winter picnic for that day, and enjoy it as much as you can because it’ll be over before you know it.

The long weekend is set to come to a close with partly cloudy skies, so fingers crossed for a not-so gloomy end to Malta’s first long weekend of 2017.
