Umbrellas At The Ready: Here’s The Weather In Malta This Week
Rain and even thunderstorms were on the weather forecast for Malta last weekend, but many people didn’t really get the winter teaser they were hoping for. That could all be changing soon, though, as this week’s forecast is looking even greyer.
It looks like the beginning of the week will end up being the sunniest, with a partly cloudy day today giving way to a mainly cloudy Tuesday. While the temperatures will still be sitting on highs of 30°C (which feel more like 34°C, ugh), even those will slowly start descending into normal September ranges… and with them, will come an increased chance of rain.
Wednesday is currently showing the possibility of isolated showers, with milds winds of Force 2 and 3 and evening lows of 23°C. By Thursday, that’ll turn into the chance of thunderstorms, with slightly stronger winds, and an even cooler evening.
For lovers of the rain and thunder that Thursday might bring, we’ve got some good news for Friday.
The weekend starts off with the same persisting probability of thunderstorms, rolling onto a probably still rainy Saturday. By Sunday, however, the sun is set to return, with partly cloudy and temperatures that feel like 33°C again ending the week.
The wind will pick back up to a comparably stronger Force 4 and 5 on Sunday, and the evening’s low will finally go all the way down to 21°C.
