Watch: Waterspout Spotted As Malta Expects Thunderstorms

A waterspout was observed in Sliema as thunderstorms are expected across Malta and Gozo.

Footage shared with Lovin Malta moments ago capture the massive waterspout spotted from Sliema.

According to Malta International Airport’s Met Office, isolated showers and possible thunderstorms are expected throughout the day, with temperatures ranging between 17°C and 24°C.

A yellow weather warning has been issued due to the stormy conditions.

Be careful out there if you need to drive around the islands.
