Wet Weekend Incoming: December In Malta Could Be Off To A Stormy Start
November in Malta proved to be a mixed bag of sunny spells, windy weekends, and stormy showers, but if there’s one thing the islands have had to get used to in the last couple of days, it’s the sudden drop in temperature. It seems like the very first days of December are set to bring more of the same… and then some.
The weather forecast for this weekend started off fine enough with a partly cloudy outlook for the rest of Friday closing November off with cool highs of 18°C, moderate wind averages of Force 3, and a rather cold evening of 12°C.
By tomorrow, though, shit might just hit the fan.
The first day of December is currently showing the possibility of thundery showers, and as it stands, the stormy weather might persist all the way till Sunday. And while the high and low temperatures should not be changing that much, an increase in the northeasterly winds’ strength to Force 4 and potentially even 5 on Sunday might make December’s first couple of days way wintery than November’s last.
