‘Who Are You Protecting?’ New Banner Demanding Justice For JeanPaul Sofia Attached To Police HQ
A new banner calling for justice for JeanPaul Sofia was erected on the police headquarters in Floriana – with officers asking Sofia’s mother to remove the banner.
“Who are you protecting? #JusticeforJeanPaulSofia” reads the banner.
Over six months after this construction fatality, appeals for a public inquiry have been met with stony silence. A magisterial inquiry led by Marse-Ann Farrugia is winding down – but it is up to the magistrate’s discretion whether to reveal the contents to the public.
The PN have also filed a motion for a public inquiry which will be discussed on the 6th July.

This is far from the first time that banners asking for justice for JeanPaul Sofia have been raised to appeal for a public inquiry – but they continue to fall upon deaf ears.
