A 47-year-old woman from St Paul’s Bay has been arrested after police investigations and surveillance linked her to alleged drug trafficking.

Officers found around 60 packets suspected to contain cocaine, along with about 15 packets suspected to be heroin, at her home on Triq id-Denfil.

The street value of the substances is estimated at €20,000.

She is currently being held at the Floriana police lock-up and is expected in court today at 12.30pm before Magistrate Ann Marie Thake.
