Woman Glassed In The Face In Paceville Bar
A 22-year-old Polish woman was hospitalised after being glassed in the face at a Paceville nightclub.
In a statement, police said that it was informed of the incident along Triq San Ġorg at 3.30am.
From preliminary investigations, it appears that the woman was attacked by an as-yet unknown person, who fled the scene.
The woman was rushed to the hospital to treat her facial injuries and was certified to be suffering from grievous injuries.
Police investigations are underway.
Violence on Paceville’s streets has been increasing in recent years with alarming videos of fights regularly being shared on social media platforms.
Still, not much has been done or improved, despite concerns of residents and the local council.
