Woman In Critical Condition After Being Hit By A Car In Attard
A 29-year-old woman is currently in critical condition after being hit by a car in Attard.
Police were informed of an incident at around 7.15am on Triq l-Imdina. Initial investigations revealed that the woman – a St Paul’s Bay resident – was hit by a Mazda Demio driven a 28-year-old woman from Rabat.
A medical team was called to the scene, and the injured woman was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance, where she was certified to have sustained serious injuries.
Magistrate Antoine Agius Bonnici has launched an inquiry, while police investigations into the incident are ongoing.
