A woman has been knifed to death in Sliema in what has become Malta’s second murder of the year. Police were informed of the murder in Triq Sir George Borg at around 7am but are said to be still establishing the sequence of events.

A Colombian man is said to have given himself up to the police.

It is the second murder of the year, following the killing of Eric Borg on New Year’s Day.
