Woman Safely Rescued In Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq
A woman was earlier today safely rescued by members of Malta’s Civil Protection Department.
The rescue team was dispatched after CPD received a report of a swimmer in distress in Baħar iċ-Ċagħaq.
“The casualty was brought to shore safely and transferred to the Mater Dei Hospital Emergency Response Team,” CPD posted on their page.
The MET office issued a warning about strong winds from the northwest today.
Swimmers are asked to avoid red flag beaches today.
