Watch: Worker Trapped After Roof Collapses, Rescue Operations Ongoing In Sliema
A worker is trapped inside a building in Sliema after a roof of a residence collapsed earlier this morning.
Police were informed on an incident at 9.45am in St Ignatius Junction where two people were trapped after a roof collapsed.

Police told Lovin Malta that one of the workers managed to leave the building on his own and was taken to Mater Dei for further treatment.
Witnesses from scene reported the team of the rescue operations are “scooping out lots of debris”.
Another person is still trapped as rescue operations by Civil Protection Department are ongoing with medical staff from Mater Dei being on site to provide treatment.
