World-Renowned Andre Rieu Hyped For Malta Show After ‘Receiving Warmest Welcome In My Life’

World-renowned violinist and conductor Andre Rieu will be performing in Malta next year – and he’s already gushing over the welcome he received after landing on the island.

In an interview conducted with TVM, Rieu described his welcome by the Maltese as “the best ever” he had in his whole entire life.

The Dutchman’s concerts and arrival appear to be a massive coup for the local scene, which has garnered genuine excitement at his arrival. 

Rieu prides himself on creating an orchestra who truly loves music and spectacle, an orchestra that is passionate. His father was a conductor and hence provided a platform for him to become educated in classical music. In terms of inspiration Rieu was outspoken on his love for Johann Strauss and the versatility of his music.

When asked on what concertgoers can expect from his concert, Rieu remained tight-lipped on the details; however he ensured that those who attend his concert will experience a range of emotions throughout the concert.

Lastly Rieu hinted at the possibility of having more than one concert, with three or four dates being mentioned.
