A yacht has become stuck off the coast of Pembroke after suddenly finding itself in the midst of a rainstorm.

Three people who were aboard the yacht were taken for medical treatment – however it seems they were lucky to escape without any injury, TVM reported.

However, the yacht is reported to have sustained serious damage during the crash.

Members of the Armed Forces of Malta were on scene to support the crew members and medical team.
