Yesterday Was Malta’s Coldest Day Of Winter So Far

Article Featured Image

Brace yourselves: winter is really kicking things into overdrive in the coming days.

Yesterday was Malta’s coldest winter day of the season so far… but with forecasters predicting a Mediterranean cyclone hitting the islands within hours, don’t expect the highest temperature to ever exceed 10°C this week.

In fact, single-digit temperatures are on the menu for every day right up to the weekend, so plan your outfits accordingly.

Meanwhile, amidst the rain showers which are expected to last throughout the week, a wind warning for this weekend is showing very strong Force 9 winds hitting on Friday, aptly just in time for the feast of St Paul’s Shipwreck.
