Yet Another Worker Seriously Injured In Construction Site Accident
A 41-year-old man from Santa Venera has been seriously injured in a construction site accident, the police said.
In a statement this morning, the police said they had been informed by the health authorities that the man had gone to hospital in severe pain at roughly 8:30pm.
It appears that the man had been injured earlier in the day while working in a construction site. He fell from a height of roughly one storey in a site in Triq Sir Paul Boffa in Marsaskala.
The man did not immediately go to hospital and only did so later that evening after he was in pain.
An ambulance was dispatched to the man’s residence and took him to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment.
He was certified as having sustained serious injuries.
Police investigations are ongoing.
