Yorgen Fenech has been placed under arrest once again, the Police have confirmed.

Fenech was put under police bail after being admitted to Mater Dei hospital due to chest pains.

On the hospital’s recommendation, he was not interrogated for the next 24 hours.

Prior to his admittance to the hospital, reports had emerged that Fenech had requested a presidential pardon for information on the murder, much like the middleman had done less than a week before.

Fenech was first arrested while trying to flee Malta on his yacht during the early hours of the morning last Wednesday. He is yet to be charged with any crime, while police have conducted extensive searches of his yacht and home.
