‘You Didn’t Deserve To Die Like That’: Tributes Pour In For Antoine Degabriele, Żejtun Hit And Run Victim
The Żejtun community is in shock after one of their own was killed in a hit and run earlier today.
Police are still searching for the driver – but friends, family and loved ones took to social media to remember the best of Antoine Degabriele.
“Rest in peace my friend,” one heartbroken well-wisher posted online. “You were always such a joker, and it was always a ruckus wherever we went… I’m going to miss you my friend.”
“You didn’t deserve to die like that.”
Earlier today, the body of a 51-year-old resident of Żejtun was found dead at Triq Anton Buttigieg in Żejtun, at around 11:45pm.
“This is being investigated as a possible hit and run,” police spokesperson Brandon Pisani said at the time.
