‘You Must Choose If You Are Maltese Or Not’: Jon Mallia Sounds Warning To MPs Over Hospitals Contract

Podcaster and media producer Jon Mallia had words of warning for sitting MPs, stating that the time has come to separate “those who are truly Maltese from those who aren’t”.
Mallia issued a statement in the wake of a landmark court verdict that saw the Vitals contract, later transferred to Steward Healthcare, annulled and tainted with fraud.
“Foreigners have infiltrated us and robbed us of €300 million from the future of your children. If it were up to them, it would have been four billion. If it were up to them they would have ruined the country. If it was up to them, they would have enslaved your children with debt for the rest of their lives.”
“Are you going to stay silent?”
He went on to say that this went beyond tribal party politics but is a matter of Maltese identity.
“What are we? Who are we?”
He goes on to ask if we are geldings, so servile as to let outsiders fleece us without consequence.
“Dear MPs, either you go after the enemy and make sure they pay back every cent or you are betraying your own flesh and blood”
“Don’t show us up as cowards in front of the international community, a doormat for the foreigner. Stick up for us now or never again dare to sing our national anthem. Malta, stand up.”
His impassioned call to action was mirrored by the indignation displayed yesterday by the thousands of protesters who surrounded Parliament to express their anger after PN MP Adrian Delia won a landmark court case.
Do you agree that it is time for our MPs to stand up and be counted?
