Young Maltese Woman Gives Elder Sister The Sweetest (And Punniest) Graduation Letter Ever
As graduations continue to roll out in Malta, Facebook feeds continue to be filled with over-the-top celebrations, cheeky buscade posters and adorable congratulatory posts. As far as the latter go, we’ve found a clear winner.
Lexie Farrugia has just graduated from her Masters after getting her Bachelor of Laws last year, and her younger sister Sarah celebrated it with the punniest and sweetest (literally) letter ever.
In the letter, Sarah, who is three years younger than Lexie, laid out loads of sweet packets and chocolate bars, placing them in strategic points to replace specifics words. And when the letter starts with “To my Smarties Maltesers sister,” you know it’s going to be a good one.
The letter continues to go through the sisters’ relationship, and of course how much Lexie deserves all her recent accomplishments. Sarah even reminds her that “whenever you need a little Boost, I’m a Wispa away.”
“I wanted to give her something very special and different for her graduation since she had already graduated last year,” Sarah told Lovin Malta. “I had seen something similar a few months ago and decided to twist it round for her graduation with all her favourite sweets and chocolates!”
Lexie instantly updated the photo on her own Facebook account, and it seems like it went down a treat (pun intended, of course) with their friends and family. In a couple of hours, the post was sitting on some 200 reactions and dozens of comments.
Sarah signs off as her M&M (mad and messy) sister, telling her, “I know this card is Corny. Just know that you mean the Galaxy to me. I hope this made you Snickers.”
