Young Woman Who Died In Birkirkara Bus Accident Identified As Kristina Zivanovic
The 23-year-old woman who died after being run over by a bus in Birkirkara yesterday has been identified as Kristina Zivanovic.
The young woman, a Serbian national who lived in Malta, was hit by a bus in Triq Notabile at around 12:15pm yesterday afternoon.
A magisterial inquiry has been opened and a police investigation has been opened into what is the 17th road death of the year.
Members of the Serbian community in Malta also paid tribute to her by lighting candles at the place she died.
