Youngest Resident Of Dar Bjorn Dies At 16 Years Old
The youngest resident of Dar Bjorn has unfortunately passed away today at just 16 years old.
Kate Attard was a band member of the Għaqda Karmelitana Banda Queen Victoria, Żurrieq.
“Dear Kate, I wanted to get to know you earlier, I wanted to hear you play, I really wanted to help you. In the few weeks you spent with us at Dar Bjorn, I noticed how much your family loves you. Now take care of them from above and rest in eternal peace. What a misfortune for Dar Bjorn today. In this holy week, the life of the youngest resident was cut short. She was only 16 years old. Too young. My heart goes out to the whole family,” founder of ALS Malta+, Bjorn Formosa, wrote on Facebook.
“Today she went to the risen Lord and Mary. The Banda Queen Victoria will pay their final respects at her funeral on Wednesday 27th March at the parish church of Żejtun,” the social media page of the band club wrote.
The funeral will start at 2.30pm.
