Yorgen Fenech’s arrest on suspicion that he masterminded the assassination of Daphne Caruana Galizia means his links to Malta’s government, the men involved with the killing, and offshore companies must be revisited.

He was an instrumental figure in bringing Electrogas, the country’s energy supplier, to Malta’s shores, while his company, 17 Black, was allegedly set to transfer millions to the accounts of Minister Konrad Mizzi and the Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff Keith Schembri.
