Opinion: ‘Make America Conservative Again’- Why The Upcoming US Election Could Be A Pivotal Point For The States – And The World
Anyone remember Baba Vanga’s predictions for the apocalypse to start in 2025? Well… she might not be wrong.
This year’s American presidential elections are instilling worry in many people around the world, not just in the USA.
With Joe Biden senile, tripping over his words and almost all Democrats and democrat voters begging him to step down, and Trump gaining potential sympathy points for getting “shot” (with people questioning whether the whole ordeal was a stunt or not…) America is fucked both ways, there’s no questioning.
But is there a lesser of two evils which won’t start a devastating chain reaction across the global socio-political landscape as we know it?
To put it simply, the answer is yes.
If you haven’t already heard of Project 2025, get ready for a worrying read.
Project 2025 is a more-than-900-page mandate with drastic conservative changes to policies in nearly every aspect of the lives of Americans if Trump gets re-elected.
Although Trump himself has criticised some of what can be found in the conservative blueprint as “absolutely ridiculous and abysmal” this is the same man who thanked God and visuals of immigration statistics on a screen behind him for saving his life in the same sentence.
First things first: a proposal for the entire federal bureaucracy including agencies such as the Department of Justice and the FBI to be put under presidential control, giving Trump access to stop any investigations he deems not worthy of investigating. This would essentially give the president a personal detective squad which can lead to incriminating and detaining potential political rivals.
Adding insult to injury, all positions in all executive branches will be replaced by Trump loyalists enforcing a shared agenda. Sounds a lot like an authoritarian regime fuelled by state mechanisms to me…
This also means there will be policies implemented on everything from health to education to climate. Money spent on funding will be relocated because of a political agenda, namely cutting Climate change and LGBTQ health care funding.
Plans also call for cutting the Education Department in its entirety, giving parents full control over what their children are allowed to learn to avoid “brainwashing and enforcing agenda’s” giving them the right to refuse their children sit for certain subjects such as religion or history to avoid clouding their judgement. (and denying them the knowledge of “existing in the context of all in which they live and what come before them” as Kamala Harris would say)
And of course, abortion is one of the most talked about topics in the mandate… as if we haven’t already seen what happens when you give men an opinion (and power) on the reproductive rights of women.
The nuclear family will be forced to make a comeback “to lead the nation in restoring a culture of life in America again.” (quite ironic don’t you think? With gun laws not updated, and the same children that will be ‘saved from abortion’ to grow up having to fear their lives in school settings) with doctors being made to promote gender roles, refuse access to abortions and abortion pills such as mifepristone, and IVF implants.
Not only that, but anyone who helps in providing women with access to an abortion, will be prosecuted, leaving the possibility for women’s cycles, miscarriages, stillbirths and abortions to be tracked by the government.
Trans individuals will be banned from joining the military and life-saving gender reassignment surgeries won’t be covered under health insurance. “Gender dysphoria is incompatible with the demands of military service” the plan says, and the author of this part of the plan spoke to the Washington Post saying the government should strongly consider mandatory military service too. (Sure lets save unborn children from abortion so we can use them as potential numbers in WW3)
I’m sure Trump wasn’t referring to this next proposal as “absolutely ridiculous and abysmal” when denying having anything to do with the mandate, as it would create a new “border control and immigration agency” which will resurrect Trump’s border wall, build camps for children and families detained at the border, and orchestrate mass deportations of all illegal workers already in the country (including dreamers) which will have a massive effect on the U.S. Economy, starting a domino effect of failing economies.
And to conclude, an effort that will affect all of us and the future of us as a species:
With every other country in the world trying to combat climate change, Project 2025 aims to get rid of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (which tracks climate change and forecasts weather) with the excuse that it is “one of the main drivers of the climate change alarm industry.”
This would lead to an increase in Arctic drilling and the shutting down of the Environmental Protection Agency’s climate change departments, making it easier to increase the production of fossil fuels, leaving not only the United States, but the whole world, royally fucked.
