If you own a Kindle and would like a cheap and short local read, you might be tempted to get your hands on ‘The Politician’s Guide To Fucking Over An Entire Island’.

Yes, an unknown person going by the pseudonym ‘Josie M’ has actually written a short satirical e-book about Prime Minister Joseph Muscat’s rise to power and is selling it for 91c a pop.

As far as books go, it’s quite a mediocre read, split into an introduction and four chapters – becoming an MEP, becoming party leader, becoming Prime Minister and selling out your own country.

“To fuck over an entire island, you will need the following,” the introduction goes. “At least half of the population biased towards a political party of your choosing, the ability to lie through your teeth, the ability to deceive many people, a deceitful smile, people who owe you favours, a journalist to blow up, another journalist biased towards the political party of your choosing, and no qualifications whatsoever.”

We won’t spoil the rest of the experience, but you can probably get the gist.
