As graduation celebrations and buscades continue to dominate Malta’s roads and Facebook feeds, it might get tough to stand out against the hundreds of revellers. Well, it seems like the Architecture graduates have managed to do that… and it’s all down to a banner on the side of the bus. 

This afternoon, a photo of the bus started being shared all over Facebook, with people commending or condemning the banner on the side. The quick rhyme read, “Permess u Bini Bla Waqfien, Ħa Nsiru Periti Fl-Aqwa Żmien.”

It seems like not everyone is quite sure whether the decision was a hilarious tongue-in-cheek reference which didn’t really mean any harm, or a tasteless jab at the “uglification brought about by these very people.” According to one other person, it was neither, and was “just bollocks.”

Whatever it was, it sure managed to turn more than a couple of heads.
