The Most Passive Aggressive Maltese Video You’ll Watch This Week Also Comes With An Extremely Important Message

A video uploaded on the increasingly popular Facebook group Malta Clean Up shows a woman sharing “a big secret”; an incredible life hack and what she calls the “key to a clean nature”.

While she does admit the whole thing looks extremely difficult, she urges her viewers to “keep the hope high”. Lo and behold, things take a quick turn into Sass Town.

In the extremely short 14-second video, the woman is seen walking on the Ta’ Xbiex promenade, stopping in front of a plastic bottle in the middle of the pavement, picking it up, walking to a bin, and simply throwing it away.

The uploader, Camilla Appelgren, is a Swedish-Maltese woman who’s been taking the island by storm with her weekly cleanup initiatives. She recently tamed up with JCI Malta to organize a huge national cleanup involving 22,000 volunteers (5% of Malta’s population!) ahead of the Let’s Do It! World Cleanup Day 2018.
